#17010: mpd 0.18.5 build fails

I tried to build mpd 0.18.5 with current trunk, because according to this
ticket -
https://dev.openwrt.org/ticket/14543
I concluded it is possible.
I got a build error, because the mpd patch file is searching for
a/src/input/file_input_plugin.c
but in all versions from 0.18 the files are
FileInputPlugin.cxx
Howcome the build of 0.18.5 was possible according to the mentioned ticket
and now not?
