#17895: generated fw images don't work with WRT54G3GV2-ST

Dear Devs,
My problem is that the images I build with the openwrt-trunk build
environment, are not recognized as valid images by the CFE boot loader on
my WRT54G3GV2-ST.
The problem is that even though I did the recommended modifications to
target/linux/brcm47xx/image/Makefile, CFE refuses to boot the freshly
flashed fw images, it instead overwrites them with the backup fw image.
(This type of router has space for two fw images, one primary, and a
backup.)
