That is apparently a completely new prerequisite introduced by r42999 (and
r42995).
I ran into the same issue with my Ubuntu 14.04x64 and fixed it by
installing "libssl-dev" package in the buildhost.
The error message is a bit ambiguous, though.
But I do wonder, where the actual need for that has now surfaced.
