Please don't mix multiple unrelated issues in a single ticket, create one
ticket per issue please.
The generic firmware kernel is not compiled for mips32r2 because (as the
name implies) it is supposed to be generic. Use the mips74k subtarget.
Ethernet ports are always numbered based on the hardware mapping, there is
no remapping for external ports yet.
