 Same problem here, with a TP-LINK 3600. After one day of running quite,
 the overlayFS filled 100% for ne reason and now my system is readonly. So
 I copied /overlay to a USB key (ext4 partition), now I am planning to
 remove something in /overlay/upper and reboot and migrate overlay to a USB
 key. Will tell you if this works.
