#20798: Router slows to a crawl after being on a few days

I'm a medium user at roughly 40 gigabytes a day of LAN and WAN traffic,
eventually all inbound and outbound traffic gets slower and slower
(network drives which normally transfer at 150 MB/sec slow down to 1MB/sec
max). Even simple things like logging into SSH on a computer on the LAN
takes 15-30 seconds (as opposed to instant).
Rebooting the router restores full speed, logging into SSH takes less than
a second to perform. I'll try to include more information as it appears.
