Sorry for this, I have never seen this during my tests.
Unfortunately I also don't have a TL-WR1043ND anymore.
Could you please put this patch https://paste.kde.org/pnhpkzvpk into
package/kernel/mac80211/patches/999-ath9k-eeprom-without-endianness.patch,
re-compile your image and post the kernel output with the patch applied?
