Have you tried flashing r49379? I was having this same eraseblock()
problem trying to flash 15.05.1. After using {{{setenv board_hw_id_set
29763551+04+32}}} and {{{setenv board_model_id_set wnr2000v3}}} per the
instructions [http://www.techinfodepot.info/wiki/Netgear_WNR2000_v3 here]
it seems to be working fine. Flashing 15.05 and 14.07 gave me a bootable
device but left the power light orange, even though I could reach it via
web and CLI, so I'm not sure what changed or if that even indicates an
underlying problem.
