#22709: ath9k: after a time (30m-14h) stops transmitting BSS on tp-link 941nd v3.2 ----------------------+------------------------ Reporter: hojuruku | Owner: developers Type: defect | Status: new Priority: normal | Milestone: Component: kernel | Version: Trunk Keywords: ath9k | ----------------------+------------------------ I previously was running a 1 year old trunk for a year, flawless wifi no problems. The old version was openwrt binaries from the download server. Now I'm running my own. Only difference is I squeezed more in the rom with 512k squashfs blocksize,16bit mips ASE, and stripping symbols from unused kernel/userspace.
<plntyk> well if you checkout trunk from ~1 year ago and it still runs better you should file a ticket about that regression - might be some change just broke some hardware revisions I am compiling a new build from trunk with ath9k debugging enabled. I have DDNS and ssh access for developers. I can redirect my dmesg to get everything. I compiled WITHOUT DSS. Now I am compiling with DSS. What debug options would you like to see turned on to make this a proper report? wifi stop; sleep 5; wifi restart fixes the problem for a time. I can still scan for networks after the crash using iw. -- Ticket URL: <https://dev.openwrt.org/ticket/22709> OpenWrt <http://openwrt.org> Opensource Wireless Router Technology _______________________________________________ openwrt-tickets mailing list openwrt-tickets@lists.openwrt.org https://lists.openwrt.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/openwrt-tickets
