#23129: ag71xx: eth1 tx timeout -------------------------+-------------------------------- Reporter: anonymous | Owner: developers Type: defect | Status: new Priority: normal | Milestone: Component: base system | Version: Chaos Calmer 15.05 Keywords: | -------------------------+-------------------------------- I have massive problems with the latest CC+trunk and devices like Open Mesh OM2P-HS or TP-Link WR841N v11.1. When I have their WAN ports (eth1) connected during bootup then the port will stop working. Instead something like "eth1: tx timeout" is printed in the kernel log all the time.
I even had this problem happening when the device was booted up and running for a while. The problematic commit seems to be caused by "ar71xx: enable flow control for ethernet MACs with built-in switch" Why are those buggy commits added to stable releases like Chaos Calmer? -- Ticket URL: <https://dev.openwrt.org/ticket/23129> OpenWrt <http://openwrt.org> Opensource Wireless Router Technology _______________________________________________ openwrt-tickets mailing list openwrt-tickets@lists.openwrt.org https://lists.openwrt.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/openwrt-tickets
