I just tried to install procps on my kamikaze system and got:
# ipkg install /tmp/procps_3.2.7-1_mipsel.ipk
Installing procps (3.2.7-1) to root...
An error ocurred, return value: 4.
Collected errors:
Package procps wants to install file /usr/bin/free
But that file is already provided by package busybox
Package procps wants to install file /usr/bin/pgrep
But that file is already provided by package busybox
Package procps wants to install file /usr/bin/pkill
But that file is already provided by package busybox
Package procps wants to install file /usr/bin/top
But that file is already provided by package busybox
Cannot find package procps.
Check the spelling or perhaps run 'ipkg update'I completely understand the problem. I'm wondering what the solution is though. Debian derived systems use the "alternatives" package for this sort of thing. Thots? b.
