Hi all, Bummer - I couldn't get openwrt working with any video player (I nearly had good success with Xine and Xorg with a geode video driver). I had no success when I tried to cross-compile source code myself.
I'm now using the Ubuntu server edition with a very cut-down geode xorg setup and mplayer. I've copied the tmpfs ramdisk setup that openwrt uses so that I can try to keep the compact flash memory alive. It's a pity - I think that openwrt is a better choice if I could get away with it.
