Hi, Does anyone have the b43 driver working on the 520gu? The most helpful information I found on this is this thread:
http://forum.openwrt.org/viewtopic.php?id=15443&p=2 and sbrown's method of disconnecting the cfe api finally allowed me to boot 2.6 on this box, but it hangs when I insmod b43. I have tried both the version from the compat-wireless-2008-08-06 tree, and that of the linux-2.6.25.20 tree, but in both cases, I can load mac80211.ko and cfg80211.ko fine, but the thing hangs when I insert b43. I could not tell from many of the posts in the referenced thread whether they were referring to the 520gu or the 500gpv2, both of which are based on the BCM5354 board, but may have different radio hardware. Any help, information or pointers will be much appreciated; I've googled, but not found much. [I've written a good chunk of the openwrt wiki page on this model.] I don't yet have a serial console, since I have no hardware hacking skills.
