Hi all, in addition to the problem reported in my previous email I report that I can't associate my laptop to the ap with that peculiar configuration. I reduced the configuration in file network to a minimum non working example, you can reproduce the problem copying these files in /etc/config on openwrt trunk (I'm using r41240). That configuration creates an ap and an adhoc interface, on top of adhoc interface it creates a vlan interface. network http://sprunge.us/MgJI wireless (for Ubiquiti NanoStation M5) http://sprunge.us/hMMA then if you comment out the sections regarding vlan on virtual ap 'wlan0_adhoc_if' and 'wlan0_adhoc_dev' the ap interface works again: I can associate and the interface is displayed by airos' site survey. I tested also on Ubiquiti PicoStation M2 and TPLink WR1043ND v1 and the result is the same. Why this happens? Is this a bug of OpenWrt? Thanks, Ilario PS why can't I set the MTU of wlan0_adhoc-11 higher than 1500? -- Ilario Gelmetti [email protected] [email protected]
