Hi again,

just to inform you that I have resolved the problem! :)

The error was that I had apache configuration files lying around from my 
previous installation, where I had modified the path of 
/var/www/default/openxpki to /var/www/openxpki. I ended up accessing the 
old version of the webinterface instead of the new one.
I ran across that after uninstalling all openxpki packages and iterating 
the directory tree for leftover files.

After correcting the "problem" I was able to log in as CA Operator, 
unlock the CA key and issue the first CRL.

I will continue working through my "testkit" and report if I encounter 
any problems.
