to be honest - no idea without having a closer look =(
It sounds like you ruined the datavault token in some way but I am unable to make an educated guess....

Yes, it was added as ca-one-vault-2 in the file system and datapool table. I 
did this with the openxpkiadm tool.

I have now removed both entries (ca-one-vault-1 and ca-one-vault-2) via the 
openxpkiadm tool and have added only the new vault token as ca-one-vault-1 to 
test if this works.
It doesn't help :)

The only difference is that I had to generate a new vault token because the old 
was expired. I don't hope this is the issue :D

Did you add it as "ca-one-vault-2" or did you just overwrite the old one?
