Hi Ali,
if you search the mailing list archives you will find some solutions
with shell scripting around the sscep tool, in case you have
certificates with client authentication you can also use EST with mTLS
to make a "self signed renewal".
There are also some open source packages that bring such functionalily
like the pkitool from strongSwan or certmonger from FreeIPA.
And if you are are able to spend some money, there is a nice product
from the guys behind OpenXPKI which is called CertNanny and we also
offer an ACME server to be used with CertBot or dehydrated for
automation in the OpenXPKI Enterprise Edition.
