Hello Patricia, Did you successfully install an Ubuntu VM? Verify by starting the VM (using "vagrant ssh" if you used vagrant to create it) and running the "uname -a" command, on my computer I get the output
Linux ubuntu-cosmic 4.18.0-17-generic #18-Ubuntu SMP Wed Mar 13 14:34:40 UTC 2019 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux I see the same folders you reported in the /home directory. If so, did you follow the installation instructions on the website, https://opm-project.org/?page_id=245 with no reported errors? Then you should be able to run OPM Flow by simply giving the "flow" command. A laptop with 4GB of RAM should be able to run Flow, although to run in parallel and bigger cases more could be needed. Your VPN should not matter, Flow does not need an internet connection. Good luck, Atgeirr ________________________________ Frå: Opm <opm-boun...@opm-project.org> på vegne av Patricia Carreras <patricia_carre...@hotmail.com> Sendt: onsdag 20. november 2019 16:58 Til: opm@opm-project.org <opm@opm-project.org> Emne: [Opm] OPM installation Hello all, I am trying to have OPM running in a VM in my laptop. I have downloaded Vagrant, Git and VirtualBox. I am having trouble to get Flow running. I got to a VM with the folders /home/vagrant and /home/ubuntu. Is this expected? What are the minimum requirements regarding my laptop memory for the software to run? I am using a VPN. Could this create any issues for the software to run now or in the future, if I change my VPN location, for example? Thanks for any help that you might provide.
