* OPNFV membership update & new Board member introduction: There was an update on new OPNFV Associate & Silver members plus Board membership. * Audit & Finance Committee report out: There was a review of OPNFV budget & expenses as of July 31, 2016. A proposal for the Q4'2016 budget was discussed and approved by the Board. The Foundation team has an action item to come back to the Board wth an annualized budget planning for 2017. * TSC report out: An update was provided on the Colorado release, D-release planning, community elections and other community discussions such as the CII badging, internship program, etc. * OPNFV Privacy Policy update: An update was given on proposed Privacy Policy update. A red-lined draft will be sent to the Board and the legal committee prior to a Board vote. * Networking-related projects hosted by the Linux Foundation: This topic was postponed to the October Board meeting * Upcoming Board elections schedule: Upcoming election schedules for September/October were presented and approved by the Board (see details below*). * There were slides-only updates from Certification & Compliance Committee, End User Advisory Group, Marketing Committee, and Strategic Planning Committee *OPNFV Board Elections schedule * Committer Board - Announcement: September 6 - Nomination: September 13 - 23 - Election: September 26 - 30 - Results announced on October 3 * Silver (2) & Silver End-User (1) Directors - Announcement: Today (after the Board meeting) - Nomination: September 12 - 16 - Election: September 19 - 23 - Results announced on September 26 * TSC Chair - Announcement: September 12 - Nomination: September 19 - 30 - Election: October 3 - 7 - Results announced on October 10 * Board Officers (Chair, Marketing Committee Chair, Secretary, Treasurer, and Vice Chair) - Announcement: October 6th (after the scheduled October Board meeting) - Nomination: October 10 - 14 - Election: October 17 - 21 - Results announced on October 24 Cheers, A ************************************************************ Anthony C.K.
