Team,

I raised this issue on the TSC call on Tuesday; however, we were nearly out
of time and didn't have a chance to discuss it. So, I'd like to raise the
issue, again, in this thread and give you an opportunity to comment or
express your objection.

As you probably recall, we struggled a bit after the Euphrates stable
branch to regain stability. This continued nearly up to the release date.
Since then, I've had discussions with the release engineering team, the
infra WG, and the test WG about what we can do to avoid this is in the
future. We've identified some actions that we can do in advance of the
stable branch in order to complete the process faster. At the same time, I
think that it would be wise to build in some additional time between the
stable branch and the release date, so I am proposing that we pull in MS7
by one week to March 30.

Please let me know your thoughts. We will follow up on the next TSC call
(March 5). Thanks.

David
