Hello Community, Thanks to all for attending the weekly technical discussion meeting on *May**05, 2020*. Today, we had a lively discussion on Common Infrastructure Realization & Validation (CIRV) project. I'm including the agenda as well as some key discussion topics from today's meeting. The meeting minutesare in the wiki[0].
*Agenda*:
* Common Infrastructure Realization & Validation (CIRV)

o CIRV project mandate and _current plans_ - is there alignment?
o What are the _current activities_ of the project?
o Who are the _active_ Committers and Contributors to CIRV?
o Are there CIRV activities _beyond the RI-1 and RC-1 work streams
in CNTT?_
o Are there _sufficient resources and prioritization_ for this
project among its stakeholders?
*Discussion*:
* There doesn't seem to be clear distinction between what CNTT does
and what OPNFV does
o There should be a distinction between implementation details
(OPNFV) and higher level specifications (CNTT)
* What do CNTT releases mean for OPNFV and how do we integrate them?
o We don't see CNTT community engaging with OPNFV on the project level
o There is a lack of flushing out of CNTT topics within OPNFV like
we have seen in the past
* What is the role of the CIRV project?
o Operators already have common descriptor file and don't want to
have a common one nor want to re-implement something
o CIRV project meeting has been integrated with the CNTT RI/RC
meeting (don't see CIRV specific topics covered)
*Note: I'm sure there is lots I'm missing from our hour long discussion
but hopefully this is enough to drive our future conversations.
