Hi Jose To debug the baremetal deploy could be tricky sometimes. Cable connection, vlan configuration and switch configuration, problem may result from one or more causes. I didn’t quite understand “(on the hard disk is Ubuntu 18.04).” but since OS is installed, it should be relatively easy to debug the network. There should be a bridge called br-external which will connect the interface going to internet, you can start from there.

The previous problem was solved, just needed to disable UEFI. But now another problem showed up. The log says that the controller server is installed successfully but the compute node doesn't. The error message that it reports is: W: The repository 'http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu xenial Release' does not have a Release file.\nW: The repository 'http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu xenial-updates Release' does not have a Release file.\nW: The repository 'http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu xenial-security Release' does not have a Release file.\nE: Failed to fetch http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/dists/xenial/main/source/Sources Cannot initiate the connection to archive.ubuntu.com:80 (2001:67c:1560:8001::14). - connect (101: Network is unreachable) [IP: 2001:67c:1560:8001::14 80]\nE: Failed to fetch http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/dists/xenial-updates/main/source/Sources Cannot initiate the connection to archive.ubuntu.com:80 (2001:67c:1560:8001::14). - connect (101: Network is unreachable) [IP: 2001:67c:1560:8001::14 80]\nE: Failed to fetch http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/dists/xenial-security/main/source/Sources Cannot initiate the connection to archive.ubuntu.com:80 (2001:67c:1560:8001::14). - connect (101: Network is unreachable) [IP: 2001:67c:1560:8001::14 80]\nE: Some index files failed to download. They have been ignored, or old ones used instead." For what I can understand it couldn't reach the Ubuntu repositories. But the other node could and both have the same configuration and neither have access to the internet, only jumphost has. After the errors and checking the two servers both has Ubuntu 16.04 installed as expected (on the hard disk is Ubuntu 18.04). Attached is the full log of deploy.sh execution. Do you know what could be the problem? Thanks for all the answers. Best regards, José Ernesto -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Links: You receive all messages sent to this group.
