I agree with you on your point about having an import functionality in
Opsview for services checks.

I just started working on 2 clean Opsview master servers and was
surprised to see the number of additions in service check definitions
that now came included for the base system. I for one would like to see
some sort of import/export utility for service checks and have a
repository of checks available off of the opsview website.

I realize nagios exchange already sort of does this but I was thinking
of a place with Opsview specific tips tricks and hacks..

The good tips tricks and hacks might find their way back into the
product at some point and also give Opsera real world information on
ways Opsview is being used.

I have developing a custom library of service checks but I bet someone
out there had already solved many of the problems I face, while others
could have saved time using some of my code.

I work with product development groups and we are always trying to
brainstorm how to get the end users to collaborate using our products to
help each other and to help us build a better product.

Subject: [opsview-users] adding a bulk of plugin

Hi to everybody!!

I started to install Opsview in many external companies, as my fellows
were more than enthusiast when I showed it them.

So I'm installing beside of Opsview many of the plugins I found. The
problem is I have to do that one after the other by copying the files
and creating the services checks manually.

Is there a way to do that in any automatic way, such as exporting it
from files or mysql and then importing it to the new born server?

Thank you!
