Sorry the proxypass is not the issue i have its the mod-rewrite "You will also
want to add a mod-rewrite rule for all the static ProxyPass exception entries,
otherwise those files are delivered by opsview-web, rather than Apache."

This is the bit that I cant get my head round

The snippet is on that doco page, i'm not real sure what you're asking here.

One problem you might be having is if you have those ProxyPass statements in
your apache config, they might not be under the vhost you're pointing at. Use
"httpd -S" to find out what vhost config file/location in that file corresponds
to the hostname you're requesting with your browser.

All this assumes you're using apache and not just pointing to
http://hostname:3000/ of course.

Hi guys,

Wondering if someone could save me some trouble learning how to create the
mod-rewrite rules for apache when re-pointing Opsview away from the root of the
server.

I have followed http://docs.opsview.org/doku.php?id=opsview3.0:advancedapache
and am lost at the last step (was hoping for a nice snippet that could go in
the conf file) My apache knowledge isn't great so any help would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Matt
