Hi,
I'm using ubuntu Hardy, after upgrading from 3.0.3 to 3.0.4 (from apt
repository), i've a lot of "UNKNOWN - Received nosuchname(2)
error-status at error-index 1" in Service Status...
When i edit host configuration and want to perform a query host in 'snmp tab', i get the output of the snmp query precede by "query_host returned
invalid xml"...

Any fix ?

We have so far been unable to reproduce this but I am still investigating - we have one other user on Ubuntu with similar symptoms.

Can you please use the attached script, transfer to the master server and run as follows:

/usr/local/nagios/bin/query_host -t -H {hostname} -C {community} | ./ check_xml_format

and report the results.

Is the host you are querying monitored by the master server or a slave?
