We haven't been maintaining a FreeBSD agent recently because there has not been demand for one. We know that we can create a FreeBSD agent if required, thus the 'supported' status. To create an agent we would take the NRPE and Nagios Plugin code and package them using the FreeBSD packaging tools, so one option would be to create your own. We could definitely do this under a support agreement (or paid consulting). I hope this doesn't sound too mercenary? Longer term I think an 'Opsview Exchange' resource would be beneficial. This would allow us to make resources available on an ad- hoc basis that we currently don't distribute because of the support overhead. It would also allow members of the Opsview community to share agents, add-ons, plugins, etc. -- James --------------------------------------------- Very sad news about the lack of FreeBSD support. To monitor my FreeBSD boxed I used the NRPE Port which is available under the ports collection usually easy to setup, generally works 9 out of 10 times without any issues.
