Hi

I'm having problems setting up a descent monitoring for some Linux servers.
Windows server were rather easy with the opsview agent.

The remote servers are some ubuntu Jaunty's. I managed to install the nrpe (I
guess...) There were no opsview agents available, as far as I could find on the
doc site.

When performing a nrpe check from the opsview server to the remote server I get
a version.

How can I configure more checks? I mean I tried some from cli on the opsview
server, but not all the checks work:

This one works: ./check_nrpe -H 10.5.0.30 -c check_load gives me  load average:
0.07, 0.08, 0.14|load1=0.070;15.000;30.000;0; load5=0.080;10.000;25.000;0;
load15=0.140;5.000;20.000;0;

But the ones already in opsview under unix doesn't work.

Where can I find all those checks, besides check_load?

Is there some descent documentation that can tell me from the beginning what to
do, read all kinds of doc's but it wasn't all clear to me. From what I read I
have to put the command also on the remote host In the nrpe config?

Thank you!
