Hi everyone! (sorry for my english)

I'm testing opsview using the virtual appliance. I've already a kind of
agent, which architecture is composed of scripts and send the results to
a Nagios core using NSCA.

So I'm trying to construct the same comunication architecture using
opsview virtual appliance.

First problem:

I tried to change nsca.cfg file, but after a reload in opsview
front-end, the file returns to default (password=changeme, ...). For
this problem I setup pass and encryption atributes to "changeme" and 2,
respectivly, in the agent, that have the send_nsca and send_nsca.cfg.

After this I tried to comunicate from agent to opsview server, sending a
passive result over nsca, but the connection was refused. So I
configured /etc/servives and inetd to accept nsca requests over 5667 tcp
port, and also add an entry in inetd.conf.

Now, in Agent side the connection get established and the data packets
are being sent. I use tcpdump to listen to interface in port 5667, the
data packets are being received too. But, after this I don't see any log
and in service detail, in opsview frontend, the service that I
previously configured don't change. No data are being receive in Nagios
from this passive check.

Someone please, give me a light!

Regards,

Vitor Reis
