I don't use HTTP::Prefork.

Will command
      strace -f ./opsview_web_server.pl 2>&1 | grep -C 2 ^EAGAIN
provide information, which you need?

Are you using HTTP::Prefork? http://docs.opsview.org/doku.php?id=opsview3.1:prefork
I just need a snippet of the strace around the EAGAIN. Can you provide some lines around here. Specifically I am looking for the file descriptor that the write() is writing to.
Also, can I have an lsof -p {processid} please. This will identify what the exact file descriptor is.

strace generates too much output, if I'll leave it on some hours, all disk space will be filled.
About 10 minutes of stracing opsview_web_server.pl maked 200Mb-file. It contains a lot of

write( ... = -1 EAGAIN (Resource temporarily unavailable)

strings.

$ grep "Resource temporarily unavailable" /root/opsview_web_server.strace | wc -l
1931275

Opsview is on VMWare virtual machine. When I start it, all works
fine. Don't know, how long. On the next day I can't get access to
opsview's web-interface. top on host system shows more than 50
percents usage of CPU (processor on server have 2 cores, and only
one of them dedicated for virtual VMWare virtual machine with
opsview). On guest system with opsview 100% of CPU capability used
by opsview_web_serber.pl. Why?
Can you get an strace of opsview_web_server.pl to give us an idea of
what it is doing.
