Hi there.

I'm using check_snmp against a server returning 64 bit counter values
(which can be seen when doing an snmpwalk) and am getting no data
returned.

When I run the same command referencing the same MIB but choosing a 32
bit counter value it returns fine.

Is there a version of check_snmp which will work with 64 bit counters ?

I have just done some tests with the same version of check_snmp - when you run the command with '-v' can you see if snmpget is using version 1 or 2c?

Will forcing to version 2c fix the problem for you? (check_snmp assumes version 1)

/usr/local/nagios/libexec/check_snmp -H 192.168.1.1 -m /usr/local/ nagios/snmp/load/blahblahMIB.mib -o blahblahMIB::bytesFromClient.0 -C string -P 2c

Doing this worked for me.
