You have to edit /etc/mailname

If your mailaddress is monitoring.company.com you have to delete
"monitoring." in the file.

kind regards
Mario

This might have been asked before so sorry for the dual post

Recently have signed up with a email to sms provider and would like to use
the service for Opsview alerts.

Opsview sends alerts in the format of [email protected] I
need it to send it from [email protected] as the sms provider will only
validate the [email protected] email address

TIA
