A quick brainstorm with my colleagues showed the reason: All notifications are sent out by the slaves (both e-mail and sms), and thus when I send passive check results to the master it expects that the slaves do the notifications.
And as I'm not running the checks on a slave, but on an embedded system … No notifications. Quite logic in this setup. So I need to find another solution … -- Toni Van Remortel System Engineer @ Precision Operations NV +32 3 451 92 20 - [email protected] From:[email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Toni Van Remortel Sent:Thursday, September 17, 2009 11:57 AM To:Opsview Users Subject:[opsview-users] Passive check results and notifications Hi all, I'm currently running a separate NSCA daemon aside Opsview to catch passive check results that are sent by my PLC system. They appear correctly in Opsview, but I don't get any notifications about them. All notifications are enabled for this test setup, so I wonder where to look. I'm using Opsview 3.3.1, and if I remember well, an earlier test (2.14 I guess) did work this way. Thanks. -- Toni Van Remortel System Engineer @ Precision Operations NV +32 3 451 92 20 - [email protected]
