We've been finding a lot of systems have not tuned their mysql
installations, and Opsview can hog the database when doing the
overnight housekeeping.
We've updated our documentation on mysql tuning parameters. See

There's also a script you can download to run against your system and
we make recommendations on mysql settings. You may want to try this
out, especially if you have peaks in the Opsview NDO service.
