I'll see if i can improve the packaging to do with this, but Solaris packing doesn't have the concept of 'upgrade' in the same way debs and rpms do so its a bit harder to fix.
 

I did the install with pkgrm then pkgadd.

 

[r...@montest ~]# pkginfo ALTovbase ALTovperl ALTovcore ALTovperl ; pkgchk ALTovweb

application ALTovcore Opsview backend applications

ERROR: information for "ALTovbase" was not found

ERROR: information for "ALTovperl" was not found

ERROR: information for "ALTovperl" was not found

 

I don’t know why those packages are showing not found, I definitely installed them.


They might be under slightly different names

I don't need the info now, but you could try the following instead

pkginfo -l ALTovbase.\* ALTovperl.\* ALTovcore.\* ALTovperl.\*
