Hi!

We've been working hard on the next release of Opsview and it's now available!

The major change is that in a distributed environment, we send the latest state information to slaves so that states, acknowledgements, downtimes and comments are synchronised. This required some heavy changes to Nagios core which is awaiting approval to go into the upstream project.

We've also updated the javascript graphing based on your feedback so now there are two new toggle buttons - "snap to now" and "autoscale" - which should make the behaviour more obvious. We've also fixed the min/ max scaling issues so that it is based on actual data in he main graph when autoscale is on.

Thanks to Helmut "Henry78" Eberharter for his patch for check_snmp_linkstatus so that interfaces now return OK if the interface admin status is down, which makes configuration easier.

We've also included a speed up to the Nagios CGIs where there are lots of downtimes and comments that I was personally involved in the upstream Nagios project.

Finally, we've included a new report type in the History -> Scheduled Reports section which is a weekly report on availability based on keywords. However, there will be no more development of these PDF reports as we concentrate on the Enterprise reporting module which is much more flexible in its reports design and its scheduling.

Enjoy!
