I don't think I can change the name of the interface. The Query Host shows:
Broadcom NetXtreme Gigabit Ethernet - Virtual Machine Network Services Driver (alias:'' speed:'1000Mbit/s' link:'up' status:'up') While Windows shows Broadcom NetXtreme Gigabit Ethernet And Opsview's Status Detail for the service Interface: Broadcom NetXtreme Gigabit Ethernet - Virtual Mac 1 shows Status Information: UNKNOWN - Interface Broadcom NetXtreme Gigabit Ethernet - Virtual Machine Network Services Driver not found! Do you know why the service ends with "Mac 1"? If you would like, I can allow you to connect to my server and check out what is happening. This is hard to diagnose without a suitable recreation environment. I will say that check_snmp_linkstatus uses the interface name in order to work out what interface to monitor and given that the name contains some strange characters, it could be an issue around that. Is it possible to change the name of the interface? Ton
