Hi there,
i'm having trouble checking the mailq on a centos system. To make it even work
locally i had to add "nagios" to the group "mail".
#/usr/local/nagios/libexec/check_mailq -w 10 -c 20 -M sendmail
OK: mailq is empty|unsent=0;10;20;0
Remote call with nrpe results in:
#./check_nrpe -H HOST -c check_mailq -a "-w 10 -c 20 -M sendmail"
CRITICAL: Error code 78 returned from /usr/bin/mailq
The Host creates this log message:
sendmail[4239]: NOQUEUE: SYSERR(nagios): can not chdir(/var/spool/mqueue/):
Permission denied
I tried to switch in this Directory with the nagios user.. without any
problems.
I'm not that into centos, so maybe can give me a hint?
