Is this a friendly group where I can say "Upgrade to a real OS like
www.debian.org or www.centos.org" while waiting for a serious answer, or would
that be a faux pas? ;-)

In seriousness... there's a lot of good Ubuntu users on this list, im sure
someone can help :)

Subject: [opsview-users] Ubuntu hardy install issue

After adding the Opsview repositories in Ubuntu 8.04 (hardy), I get an error
while updating (apt-get update):
W: Failed to fetch
http://downloads.opsera.com/opsview/apt/community/dists/hardy/main/binary-i386/Packages.gz
Sub-process gzip returned an error code (1)
E: Some index files failed to download, they have been ignored, or old ones
used instead.

I think the problem is that the following file is not compressed (as the .gz
extension indicates):
http://downloads.opsera.com/opsview/apt/community/dists/hardy/main/binary-i386/Packages.gz

Any clues on how to solve this?
Best Regards,
Andres Murillo
