Johnny -- there are multiple ways of doing this, you can do it on per host basis but I suggest creating a new service check:

goto: Configuration --> Service Checks
locate the SSH check under Network - Services
click the Copy sign (to the right of the trash can)
give it a new name like SSH-2202
down under arguments, change the port # after the -p from 22 to match the port you run on.
submit and apply changes.

    How does one go about changing the port used for SSH checks on
    some servers? I use 2 different ssh ports depending on the
    location of the servers
