Hello, I have recently setup (via VMware image) Opsview, and so far have loved all the great features it adds.
I have, however, run into an issue as I have been creating my publicly-viewable viewports. Here is my situation: Among the many things I want to include in the viewports, I want to have a "Infrastructure" section, which would include any problems with the infrastructure as far as load is concerned. I already have setup checks, using the "SNMP" section of the "Host Configuration" area, to monitor the throughput percentages on individual ports on my switches, but I cannot figure out how to add these checks to the Viewport screen. I would like to be able to assign keywords in the "SNMP" screen of the "Host Configuration" area, so that the port checks may be included in my Viewports. Does anyone know if this is possible? I saw that, on this very list, this feature had been requested about a year ago, but I saw no indication that it was planned to be implemented. Is this possible with some sort of workaround or hack? Will this feature be implemented in a future version?
