Edgar, Thank you very much for the help, I attempted that and it does not seem to work. here are some of the trouble shooting ran the script local on the windows server to make sure it works fine and it did start the service. I looked at the nagios.log and saw that the event was triggering but there is an error message that shows that the nrpe file is that there (/usr/local/nagios/libexec/eventhandlers/)
