Ok, I can do that in the configuration of every single Contact but
I would prefer to create a Role, assign this host-group to this Role

The host group restriction here is a restriction of which hosts can be
configured.
But if I do that and I log in with a "restricted" user I can see and
access still
ALL host-groups in Host Group Summary.
Did I overlook something ?
The host groups a contact can see is based on the host group tick boxes.
