We're running Opsview 3.0.2.2192 which has a bug in ndoutils affecting contacts...
http://lists.opsview.org/lurker/message/20090421.153813.b87ec6b3.en.html I've tracked down the patch to fix this... https://secure.opsera.com/wsvn/wsvn/opsview/branches/BRAN-3.0/opsview-base/patches/ndoutils_truncate_tables.patch ...and pulled a tarball of BRAN-3.0.r3463. >From this I've re-compiled ndoutils and wonder if I can just use the new binaries as a drop-in replacement ? At the moment the existing RPM has the following files... [u...@host dir]$ rpm -ql ndoutils-1.4b7-1 /etc/xinetd.d/ndoutils /usr/bin/file2sock /usr/bin/log2ndo /usr/bin/ndo2db-2x /usr/bin/ndomod-2x.o ...and the re-compile I've just completed contains all those binaries. Is there anything else I should be aware of prior to using the new binaries ? Thanks very much. _______________________________________________ Opsview-users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.opsview.org/lists/listinfo/opsview-users
