Hi,

Besides the question "Why would you want to", I'm guessing that running the
opsview-agent on client systems can be coaxed into running as a different user.
The database server needs no nagios user to run mysql, but the main opsview
server? Woof, I don't really suggest chaning the user. (Again: for what
reason?)

You would need to move the crontab contents, change ownerships, and I'm sure
there's more stuff hidden away left and right...

Is anyone aware of the proper way to change the default opsview "nagios" system
user setting to an alternate system account?

Thanks
