The problem is in how odw is populated.

When you change an host, or an hostgroup, a completely new entry in hosts table, or in servicechecks table is created by the import_odw script.

I think that is an architetural choice by the opsview developers to simplify the import_odw script.

I would like also to hear someone from the opsview developers to know if I'm correct or not.

I also had to create a way to clean the odw database from removed hosts and all their data, and this is due to the same cause.

Emilio

Hej!

sorry for the double-post (Forum and Mailing-List), but it's kinda urgent
and the forum isn't that active :/

I created a new hostgroup and moved 3 hosts (which are monitored since 3
month by opsview) in there. After creating a selection and a scheduled
report, i can't see any data in the generated report. Is there somehow a
dependency between the (former) Hostgroup and the reports? If yes, how to
fix this?!

Opsview-Version: 3.7.1

Greetings
joey
