Hello,

I just found an interesing project
it's OpenTSB( http://opentsdb.net/ )

The site says
"OpenTSDB is a distributed, scalable Time Series Database (TSDB) written on
top of HBase. OpenTSDB was written to address a common need: store, index
and serve metrics collected from computer systems (network gear, operating
systems, applications) at a large scale, and make this data easily
accessible and graphable."

Opsview uses rrd for graphing and odw for raw & long term data storage.
I think that this architecture will meet the limit in the long run. ( I
already feel the problem for SQL querying large ODW db )
and Scalable parallelized data stores like hadoop would be resonable and
inevitable solution for the scalability problem.

I hope Opsview would be open to these upcoming technology and architecture.

Thank you.
