Hi,
it seems to be a performance problem. How it's the IO load on the
database machine? Do you have binary logging enabled? How are fsyncs
setup on the mysql server?

We are troubleshooting a problem in our Opsview installation that we have been
tracking for quite some time. Firstly, we are receiving notifications that the
NDO imports are falling behind, sometimes by as much as 25,000 files. The
applications always catches up without our intervention but we're trying to

I see the following in our opsviewd.log roughly 1,100 times a day:

We also see warnings of "slow" imports roughly 2,000 times per day:

size=253434, took 14.99 seconds> 5 seconds
Our ODW woes are similar in that we are falling behind periodically and have to manually
run import_runtime occasionally to get the ODW up to date. I'm not sure where to look
for import_runtime errors but based on what we find in the odw.dataloads table it seems
that an import will start running but suddenly stop, resulting in a stale row in the
table that is marked "running".
Our setup is a single Opsview master monitoring 400 hosts and ~6400 services.
We have a standalone database server that is shared with other applications.
Is there any place we should look for more detail on why we might experience
issues with both the import_ndologs and import_runtime?
