Hello,

Sometimes our server in de the DC have larger latency when performaing
backup. We therefor have created a new Time Period to exclude the times
of backup (our case from 0:00 till 3:00).

We then configure the servers to use this Time Period to notify us. The
checking is still 24x7 but no mails will be sent to us if one of them
fails during the backup time period.

The timed exception is also an option, but I think it's more labour
intensive to make time exceptions as this would be needed on every
service check on every server seperately.

Met vriendelijke groet,

Hi Simon,

Also, if you want a specific schedule to be followed every day you could
specify a 'Time Period' under the 'Advanced' menu and apply that
specific time period to the host you want.

Hi Simon,

If you go to Status > Host Detail > $host you can schedule downtime,
stop checks, disable notifications, etc. for that host on the right hand
side of the screen.

Is that what you're looking for?

Wilco
