Your main opsview server remains your main opsview server. If you intend to setup a slave server, which talks to the main opsview server, then these commands apply hth Paul -----Original message----- To:[email protected]; From:Mgia <[email protected]> Sent:Thu 23-06-2011 18:43 Subject:[opsview-users] Partial migration from Nagios to Opsview Hello, I would like to partially migrate from Nagios to Opsview. I follow this guide on the wiki http://docs.opsview.com/doku.php?id=opsview-community:migrating:nagios#planning_your_partial_migration But I stuck in the following parts: * Create a new monitoring server and mark it as 'Passive' * Run send2slaves -t to test the configuration I made a new monitoring server with the same Hostname/IP as the main OPSVIEW server and a unique identifier as it is required. How can I mark it as passive? Then I run send2slaves -t to the monitoring server that I made which is the same opsview server and obviously I get: # No slaves found with name $foo I searched around and on the mailing-list but I could find something. Thanks. _______________________________________________ Opsview-users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.opsview.org/lists/listinfo/opsview-users
