(Disclaimer, I work for OpenDNS.) If you're using OpenDNS, you disable all that stuff when you visit the preference page: http://www.opendns.com/prefs/ If you do that you'll get zero unexpected recursive dns behavior. Regards, Jacob Appelbaum
